When you leave Berklee, you will retain access to some of the resources and services offered by the Library.
Databases and Online Subscriptions
Alumni can use subscription-based, online resources via iMac computers located inside our facilities. Please be mindful that this access is not granted off-campus.
We also have a list of free resources recommended by our librarians on our website.
If you live or work in Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners (MBLC) pays for many Gale and some Proquest databases that you can use as long as you are physically in the state. You can find a list of those on the MBLC website.
Last but not least, check out your public library’s databases which you can access as long as you have a library card.
From the Archives
The Berklee Archives preserves materials that document the history, activities, and contributions of Berklee and Boston Conservatory’s academic and administrative departments, faculty, students, and alumni, with additional special collections in jazz and popular music. Areas of emphasis include the Schillinger System of Musical Composition, and the history of jazz in Boston. Available collections include oral histories, concert programs, event recordings, original scores and arrangements, faculty teaching materials, photos, news clippings, and more!
See the pages below for information on past events. Contact the Archives at archives@berklee.edu if you need assistance finding something specific.
